This Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted by telephone July 18-21, 2013, among a random national sample of 1,002 adults, including landline and cell phone-only respondents. Results have a 3.5 point error margin. The error margin is 4.5 points for the sample of white respondents and 11 points among African Americans.
