This Washington Post-Schar School poll was conducted by telephone May 9-14, 2017, among a random sample of 1,602 adults in the Commonwealth of Virginia, including landline and cell phone respondents with a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3 points. The error margin is six points among the sample of 351 likely Democratic voters in the Democratic primary for governor, and seven points among the sample of 264 likely Republican primary voters.
