This Washington Post-Schar School poll was conducted by telephone October 26-29, 2017, among a random sample of 1,238 adults in the Commonwealth of Virginia, including landline and cell phone respondents with a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 points. The error margin is 3.5 points among the sample of 1,100 registered voters and four points among the sample of 921 likely voters.
