This Washington Post-Kaiser Family Foundation poll was conducted by telephone Jan. 24 – Feb. 22, 2018, among a random national sample of 1,850 adults age 18 and over, including 832 adults who report attending a rally or protest in the past two years, described here as “rallygoers”. The results from the full survey have a margin of sampling error of plus or minus three percentage points; for protesters or rally-goers the margin of sampling error is plus or minus 4 percentage points.
