Allie Caren joined The Post from Cox Media Group’s digital startup, Rare, where she was a video producer. She has covered everything from President Trump’s inauguration to country music events in Nashville. In 2017, she produced a six-part mini-series on the heroin crisis in the U.S., specifically focusing on how the youngest victims — babies born with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome — are affected.
Before joining Cox Media Group, Allie worked on a USA Today initiative called YourTake, a community-driven project propelled by user-submitted photos, videos and stories. You may also have seen Allie’s byline in The Post’s ‘Express,’ where she has written several features.
