Andrea Platten is the alerts editor at The Washington Post. She oversees daily push notifications and alerts strategies for major stories and events. She previously worked as a producer on the Homepage, Snapchat and Rainbow teams at The Post. She first joined The Post in 2017 as a multiplatform-producing intern.
