Katty Huertas is a designer and art director for By The Way, a digital travel product from The Washington Post. She previously worked at NBC News, where she was an editorial designer for "Today."
She has worked in a freelance capacity for Adobe, Disney Plus, HBO Max and The Washington Post.
A multidisciplinary artist from Colombia, Katty studied visual arts and graphic design in her home country before earning a bachelor's degree in art from Florida International University. Katty received a master of fine arts degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2020.
