Libby Casey is the on-air reporter and anchor covering politics and accountability for The Washington Post. She anchors live broadcasts and creates videos that air on The Post's website, YouTube, Amazon Prime, Facebook, and Twitch. Her series "How to be a journalist" tackles questions about how reporters do their jobs.
Before The Post, Casey was a national TV correspondent for the network Al Jazeera America and a host and producer of C-SPAN's daily call-in show "Washington Journal." She started her career in Alaska in public radio and came to the nation's capital as Alaska Public Radio Network's Washington correspondent. She has taught radio journalism classes at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
