Monica Ulmanu is the visual enterprise editor for the Climate & Environment Department at The Washington Post. She was part of the Post team that won the 2020 Pulitzer Prize for Explanatory Reporting for “2C: Beyond the Limit,” a series of articles that documented the dire effects of extreme temperatures on the planet. Before joining the Post in 2018, Monica worked on the graphics desk for the Guardian (UK), Reuters, Boston Globe, and interned with The New York Times.
