Peter Stevenson is The Washington Post's senior video producer for national news and politics. He joined The Post in 2015, covering national politics for The Fix. He was previously a freelance photographer, covering state politics and the economy in Indiana, then national politics on Capitol Hill, before moving to the West Coast editing video in Portland, Ore.
