Samantha Latson is an intern on The Washington Post's investigative desk. She is an MS student in journalism at Indiana University and was a reporter for the Unforgotten 51 project that examined the mostly unsolved cases of 51 mostly African American women murdered in Chicago since 2001. The killings are believed to be the work of a serial killer. Her work has been published in the Chicago Sun-Times and Chicago Crusader.
