Trish joined the Post in 2018 to lead a new team of reporters focused on climate change and the environment. She formerly led international investigations and terrorism enterprise at the Associated Press, where her team's work on Yemen won a Pulitzer Prize in 2019. During that five-year run, she led AP’s coverage of the Islamic State, a Pulitzer finalist in 2018. At the Post, the climate team launched the multipart series 2C: Beyond the Limit, which won the Pulitzer Prize in Explanatory Reporting in 2020. Trish started her career in South Florida and later joined The News & Observer in Ralei
