Whitney Leaming is a video journalist at The Washington Post on the National desk. She reports largely on immigration, humanitarian crises and global infectious diseases. She has documented the outbreak of Ebola in West Africa, Zika in South America and civil unrest in Ferguson and Baltimore. She also extensively covered the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey in Texas and Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico.
