Ed Stack is the chief executive of Dick’s Sporting Goods, a retailer that sells outdoor equipment, athletic gear and guns. But after the Parkland, Fla., massacre, Stack decided to take assault rifles and bump stocks out of stores. Those were only two of the initiatives Stack devised after the 2018 shooting.

Post business reporter Rachel Siegel spoke with Stack recently in Pittsburgh about his decision to change his company’s gun policies and what he thinks Congress needs to do to enact change.
