Tillerson says U.S. should maintain ‘seat at table’ at Paris climate talks

Sen. Ben Cardin (D-Md.) asked Tillerson whether he believed U.S. participation in international climate talks was something he favored.

Tillerson, whose company has been locked in conflict with environmental groups, said, “It’s important that the United States maintains its seat at the table about how to address the threat of climate change, which does require a global response. No one country is going to solve this on its own.”
