During his press conference, Donald Trump continued to resist suggestions he should release his tax returns, saying he remains under audit.
“The only ones that care about my tax returns are the reporters,” Trump said, suggesting that his victory as president was evidence that voters were not concerned.
“You learn very little from a tax return,” Trump added.
Wednesday is a particularly busy day in Washington with three Senate confirmation hearings for President-elect Trump’s appointees, a long-awaited Trump news conference and a Senate “vote-a-rama” on a budget resolution that could be the first step in repealing the Affordable Care Act.
