Post Politics Now ‘You’ve had my back, and I’ll have yours,’ Biden tells firefighters union

Today, President Biden addressed a gathering of the International Association of Fire Fighters, the first major labor organization to endorse his 2020 White House bid. “You’ve had my back, and I’ll have yours,” Biden, who has promised to be “the most pro-union president” in history, said in his remarks. He was the first sitting president in more than two decades to address the group. Biden touted several measures he has pushed to improve firefighter benefits, and urged Congress to do more.
