10. Connecticut (Democratic-controlled)This one sticks out on this list like a sore thumb. Do Republicans really have a chance in the strongly blue Nutmeg State? At this point, the answer has to be “yes.” An early October Quinnipiac poll showed Linda McMahon (R) and Rep. Christopher S. Murphy (D) running about even. A DSCC air offensive has had some time to marinate; it’s bad news for McMahon that she has to contend against a new foe on the airwaves.
