This Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted by telephone April 22-25, 2019, among a random national sample of 1,001 adults, with 65 percent reached on cell phones and 35 percent on landlines. Results have a 3.5 percentage point error margin for the full sample, including design effects due to weighting. Sampling, field work and data processing by Abt Associates of Rockville, MD.
