A Discussion with Stars and Producers of the Hulu original series, “The Looming Tower”
On Tuesday, February 13, The Washington Post hosted a live discussion with stars and producers of the Hulu original series, “The Looming Tower.” Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book, Hulu notes the series “traces the rising threat of Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda in the late 1990s and how the rivalry between the FBI and CIA during that time may have inadvertently set the path for the tragedy of 9/11.”
The Washington Post’s David Ignatius spoke with stars of the series, including Jeff Daniels, Tahar Rahim, Peter Sarsgaard and Wrenn Schmidt and with the show’s executive producers Dan Futterman, Alex Gibney and “The Looming Tower” author Lawrence Wright and former FBI Supervisory Special Agent Ali Soufan.
