I am a full-time dairyman. We produce a lot of milk in the Pacific Northwest. We have a great climate for that. Seventy percent of the milk we produce in the Pacific Northwest actually goes someplace else; and 50 percent of that goes overseas. In Southeast Asia, we feed a lot of people . . . mostly in the form of milk proteins and milk powders.
We live in a time where there’s probably never been more food, more available and cheaper. . . . I think we’re doing a really good job and have a really good story to tell.
