Harper `Confident' Keystone XL Pipeline Will Be Built
Sep. 21, 2011
Sept. 21 (Bloomberg) -- Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper says he's "confident" TransCanada Corp.'s proposed $7 billion Keystone XL pipeline linking Canada's oil sands to U.S. refineries on the Gulf of Mexico coast will be built.
The U.S. may make a final decision on the project this year after the State Department said Aug. 26 it would pose "no significant impacts to most resources" along its route. Harper speaks with Bloomberg's Erik Schatzker. (This report is an excerpt. Source: Bloomberg)
