Refugee resettlement programs face financial limbo
The Office of Refugee Resettlement recently restored some of the money for refugee programs, like the one run by Church World Service in Greensboro, N.C., that it had taken away early this summer to deal with the influx of unaccompanied minors crossing the border. But Congress has to approve a new budget in October, and funding for refugee resettlement programs could be in flux again.
