On Thursday, December 6, The Washington Post will host top military leaders Gen. Joseph Dunford, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Dr. Steven H. Walker, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency Director, for Transformers: Defense.
Dunford and Walker will discuss how the Pentagon is modernizing America’s armed forces, how new technologies will change the nature of warfare and reveal the biggest military challenges we face as a country.
Speakers, including security experts, former military officials and defense thought leaders, will assess how the United States and other countries are reducing their reliance on the traditional machinery of war fighting and adapting military strategy to 21st century technology.
