Announcement from Director of Video Micah Gelman, Executive Producer David Bruns and Senior Producer Reem Akkad:

We are pleased to announce that Joyce Koh, a video editor on the National desk, will join the video reporting team to cover politics and the upcoming presidential campaign. In her new role, Joyce will team with Rhonda Colvin on Capitol Hill and will be the lead video reporter in Iowa, New Hampshire and beyond as the 2020 campaign gets rolling.

Joyce joined The Post in 2017 and quickly became a standout on the National desk, covering the aftermath of the white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, the fallout from Jordan McNair’s death at the University of Maryland and Stacey Abrams’ gubernatorial campaign in Georgia.

Before coming to The Post, Joyce covered Governor Nikki Haley and the South Carolina Statehouse for WLTX-TV in Columbia. She also worked as a freelance reporter and multimedia journalist in Baltimore and for the Capital News Service in College Park.
