The Washington Post today named Jarrod Dicker vice president of commercial technology and development. Reporting to both the CIO and CRO, this new role sits at the intersection of engineering and revenue and will focus on driving growth by developing innovative revenue solutions across advertising, subscriptions and technology.

Dicker was most recently the CEO of Po.et, a platform for decentralized media economy on the blockchain. Prior to Po.et, Dicker served as VP of innovation and commercial strategy at The Washington Post overseeing the research, experimentation and development team (RED). Dicker has lead product and technology teams at RebelMouse, Time Inc. and the Huffington Post. He also serves on the Board of Advisors for Rutgers University School of Innovation and Mogul Inc.
