Announcement from Director of Social and Operations Mark Smith and Senior Director of Audience Ryan Kellett:
We are excited to announce that Razzan Nakhlawi is joining The Post’s Audience team as a social media producer.
She will join the newsroom’s core social team, which programs The Post’s main social accounts across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. She’ll bring to the core team a deep understanding of some of the Web’s more interesting corners, experience editing video for social platforms and an eagerness to connect directly with subscribers in meaningful ways.
Razzan joins The Post from the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists, where she was a digital producer. She managed the non-profit’s social media accounts and created social content for multiple platforms.
She has interned at the Hollywood Reporter and the Los Angeles Times.
Razzan (@raz_nak) is a native of Stoke-on-Trent, U.K., and earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Southern California. When she’s not working, she’s learning Arabic, surveying nightlife in the District and getting emotional over fonts.
