Comic Riffs, The Washington Post’s comic art and illustration blog, has won second place in the 85th National Headliners Awards’ “Best Blog” category. The winning entry comprised three columns by Comic Riffs writer Michael Cavna including his self-illustrated exhibit reviews of British/Welsh illustrator Ralph Steadman, and Rob Rogers, who was fired by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette for his Trump cartoons.

The National Headliner Awards is one of the oldest journalism awards in the country. View the full list of this year’s winners here.
