Announcement from National Enterprise Editor David Finkel and National News Editor Steven Ginsberg:

We’re pleased to announce that Kyle Swenson will be joining National Enterprise for a six-month fellowship beginning July 1. Kyle’s fellowship is in addition to the opening for the team posted earlier. Kyle has spent the past two years as part of The Post’s Morning Mix team, distinguishing himself as a reporter with great story instincts and a writer of uncommon agility. Before joining The Post, Kyle worked for alt weeklies in South Florida and Cleveland, where his work earned multiple awards and helped exonerate three men who had been wrongly convicted of murder. Kyle is the author of the recently released book, “Good Kids, Bad City: A Story of Race and Wrongful Conviction in America’s Rust Belt,” which The Post, in its review, called, "a gripping, novelistic account of what happened to the three defendants and their lone accuser after the convictions, a frank confession of the methods and emotions of an obsessed reporter, and a poignant meditation on the dark side of Cleveland and what became of that once-proud embodiment of Midwestern virtues that allowed this travesty to happen.”

Please join us in welcoming Kyle to the daylight hours of National Enterprise.
