On Thursday, July 18 The Washington Post Live will continue The 2020 Candidates series with Sen. Cory Booker. The former Mayor of Newark became the first African American Senator from New Jersey after winning his seat in the 2012 election. Booker will share his vision for America and his views on pressing issues such as immigration, gender politics and racial politics.

The Washington Post Live presents The 2020 Candidates a live one-on-one interview series featuring the presidential candidates and providing a deep dive into their policy positions and campaign strategies. The Washington Post’s National political reporter, Robert Costa, is the host of The 2020 Candidates and will conduct the interview.

The Washington Post Live is The Post’s live journalism platform for extended, on-the-record newsmaking conversations live-streamed on Washington Post Live’s web site and available on Facebook and Twitter. Washington Post reporters host these programs covering politics, policy and culture. This special series and other Washington Post Live programs are made available to external media and other sites across the country.
