2020 Candidate Series to feature Senator Kirsten Gillibrand

The Washington Post Live today announces Senator Kristen Gillibrand is the next guest for The 2020 Candidates series on Monday, August 19th at The Washington Post Live Center.

Gillibrand has been in the Senate for nearly a decade, after serving in the House of Representatives, where she represented a district that had long supported Republicans. She has been an advocate for women, both in Congress and on the debate stage this year.

The Washington Post’s National political reporter Robert Costa is the host of The 2020 Candidates series and will ask her about how she plans to win a crowded primary race and about how she would govern. Senator Gillibrand is the seventh candidate to participate in this series.
