The Washington Post today announced it will host a special live conversation with Post Executive Editor Martin Baron and Global Opinions Writer and Univision anchor León Krauze in Mexico City on Wednesday, September 11 at the Museum of Anthropology beginning at 10:45amET. This event follows the launch of The Post’s new Spanish-language section, Post Opinión.

Krauze and Baron will discuss the media’s relationship with power and the challenges of reporting on the Trump and López Obrador administrations. The conversation will be moderated by María Jesús Zevallos, an editor for Post Opinión.

Post Opinión, which launched on August 28, is The Washington Post’s new opinions section featuring original Spanish-language columns by writers from Latin America, the U.S., Spain, and beyond.
