Benjamin is an associate editor at Foreign Policy, where his duties since 2015 have included editing, reporting and helping produce “First Person,’’ FP’s global-affairs podcast. Earlier in his career, he reported on environmental protection in Bolivia, was a freelancer in Brazil and spent a year in Indonesia as a web editor for the Jakarta Globe, as a Princeton-in-Asia journalism fellow. He also held internships at The Boston Globe, the New Republic, Harper’s and USA Today.
Benjamin is a graduate of Wesleyan University, where he earned a B.A. in history, and studied abroad at Boğaziçi University in Turkey. He’ll start work in the newsroom on Jan. 6.
