The Washington Post Joins Apple News

The Washington Post is now available in the Apple News app.

The Washington Post today announced it has officially launched in the new Apple News app. Readers using iPhone, iPad and iPod touch running iOS 9 can now access The Post’s national and international news and features within the Apple News experience.

“It is important for The Washington Post to be available everywhere a reader may turn to get news,” said Fred Ryan, publisher, The Washington Post. “Millions of people use iPhones and iPads every day to get their news, and having the new Apple News app built into iOS 9 presents a huge opportunity for us to reach them.”

Post articles within Apple News will take on the same look and feel as The Post’s recently launched national news apps, featuring highly-designed layouts and bold photos and graphics.

Users can download iOS 9, which includes Apple News, starting today.
