From Multiplatform Editing Chief Jesse Lewis and Multiplatform Editor Ryan Weber:
We are thrilled to announce Carol Alderman will join us as our new audio producer, working on podcast production and development. Carol comes to us from USA Today, where she produced the popular Dad Rock and The Mothership podcasts, and contributed to other podcasts.
Carol is also a talented multimedia editor and photojournalist, and at USA Today she oversaw multimedia production for USA Today College and ran the Collegiate Correspondent Program. She is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology.
In her role with us, Carol will help refine our podcast strategy and expand our offerings, building on the hard work that’s already been done by Lily Cunningham (Presidential), Lisa Bonos (Solo-ish), Tim Bontemps (Posting Up) and others to develop new ideas and define The Washington Post’s voice in the podcast space. (See all our latest podcasts here.)
Carol starts May 31 as part of the audience team, reporting to Jess. Please join us in welcoming her.
