“This election has been a rollercoaster of emotions. Working with The Post’s social and audience engagement teams, we created an experiment that could connect the news cycle with our readers’ feelings,” said Joseph Price, senior product manager for The Post. “We want to learn if a bot can draw out personal experiences and promote honest conversations. We hope to leverage this kind of interaction for other events with charged emotional interest, like sports seasons.”
