We are excited to announce that Paige Winfield Cunningham will be joining the PowerPost team to anchor our forthcoming newsletter on health politics and policy. This is the first in a series of steps to expand and deepen PowerPost’s policy coverage this year.

Paige is an expert in all things Obamacare. She hails from the Washington Examiner, where she covered the Affordable Care Act, Medicare, Medicaid, reproductive rights, drug policy and mental health. She also has experience in writing a daily newsletter as the author of Politico’s “Pulse” tipsheet.

As the anchor of the new PowerPost newsletter, Paige will provide scoops, in-depth analysis and experienced perspective on the often complicated but very important world of health policy, especially at a time when there is heated debate over repealing and replacing the Affordable Care Act.

A graduate of Wheaton College in Illinois, Paige began her career in the Chicago area, covering county government for The Naperville Sun and writing a blog aptly named “The Political Paige.” She lives in Alexandria, with her husband and two children.
