The Washington Post’s Executive Editor Martin Baron ranks #10 on Vanity Fair’s 2017 New Establishment List alongside New York Times Executive Editor Dean Baquet. The two were recognized for “standing up for real news” and “breaking stories ranging from West Wing gossip to national-security scoops on a daily basis.” The annual list honors 100 titans from various industries according to their power and influence in society.
