The Washington Post and Arc Publishing, The Post’s fast-growing software-as-a-service business, took home top honors at WAN-IFRA’s North America Digital Media Awards last night. The Post won for Best News Website and Arc was named Best Innovation New Product, a testament to the superior technology built by The Post and the view that great journalism should be supported by great technology.

As winners of the North America Awards, The Post and Arc qualify to compete for WAN-IFRA’s World Digital Media Awards against the best digital projects of Africa, Asia, Europe, India, LATAM and the Middle East.

The Post also took second place in the category of Best in Social Media Engagement for being the first national news publisher to launch on Reddit and Best Data Visualization for its coverage of the 2016 election.
