On Tuesday, February 13, The Washington Post will host a screening of the Hulu original series, ‘The Looming Tower.’ Immediately following the screening of the first episode, The Washington Post’s David Ignatius will talk with stars of the series, including Jeff Daniels, Tahar Rahim, Peter Sarsgaard and Wrenn Schmidt, and with the show’s producers Dan Futterman and Alex Gibney as well as “The Looming Tower” author Lawrence Wright and former FBI supervisory Special Agent Ali Soufan, who is portrayed by Rahim in the show.

Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book, Hulu notes the series “traces the rising threat of Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda in the late 1990s and how the rivalry between the FBI and CIA during that time may have inadvertently set the path for the tragedy of 9/11.” The series premieres on Hulu on February 28.

The post-screening discussion will be streamed live on The Post’s site at wapo.st/loomingtower. Video of the discussion will be available online after.
