The Washington Post announces two upcoming Daily 202 Live events in June: Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will appear at The Post on Wednesday, June 6, and House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) is confirmed for Wednesday, June 27. Both lawmakers will talk one-on-one with Post national political correspondent and author of The Daily 202 newsletter James Hohmann.

Sanders will discuss a variety of topics including his future political plans, midterm elections, universal Medicare coverage, and his views on immigration and the Trump presidency. Scalise will focus on his party’s legislative priorities, preview the midterm elections, and discuss the challenges and opportunities he faces working with the Trump administration.

These events will be streamed on The Post’s site at wapo.st/daily202sanders and wapo.st/daily202scalise.
