According to RealEstate Business Intelligence, the active inventory of Washington area homes in April was down 31.5 percent from April 2011. Increased demand, driven by such factors as a stable local economy and low interest rates, has created a seller’s dream and a buyer’s nightmare, as one couple relocating from Tennessee found.
