This is essentially a Manhattan made with Licor 43 or Tuaca instead of bourbon or rye. Licor 43 makes a slightly sweeter, less subtle drink.

Servings: 1
  • Ice
  • 1 1/2 ounces Licor 43 or Tuaca
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura or Peychaud's bitters
  • 1 maraschino cherry, for garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker half-full with ice. Add the Licor 43 or Tuaca, vermouth and bitters. Shake well for 30 seconds, then strain into a cocktail (martini) glass. Garnish with the cherry.
