This bright, dawn-colored sip is a riff on the Last Word, the most famous classic cocktail to come out of the Motor City.

Tested size: 1 servings

  • Ice
  • 3/4 ounce gin
  • 3/4 ounce Dolin Génépy des Alpes (see headnote)
  • 3/4 ounce Aperol
  • 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice


Fill a cocktail shaker with ice; add the gin, genépy, Aperol and lemon juice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds, then double-strain into a coupe glass.
