Getting there

There is no general admission parking available in the immediate vicinity of the golf course. All surrounding parking is by permit only.

Shuttle buses will transport patrons to and from the parking lots — at Rock Spring in Bethesda for $20 and the Montgomery County Fairgrounds for $10 — and the golf course during lot hours. Shuttles depart approximately every 15 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.

The Rock Spring Park Lot is sold out for Friday. More parking details can be found at www.attnational.org.

What not to bring

Banned items include cameras and video cameras; radios; signs and banners; coolers or beverages; carry items larger than a small purse; firearms and weapons of any kind; ladders; periscopes; folding-arm chairs and lawn chairs (folding stools without arms or bags are allowed).

Heat concerns

Because of temperatures projected to be in the mid- to upper-90s for much of the tournament, organizers have placed several misters around the course to keep fans cool. Concessionaires have also lowered the price of bottled water from $3 to $2.
