Taquan Mizzell, RB: Coach Mike London’s first-ever five-star recruit could be in line for immediate playing time. Nicknamed “Smoke,” Mizzell has the frame to be an every-down running back eventually and accounted for more than 2,000 all-purpose yards and 39 total touchdowns as a senior.

Tim Harris, DB: The Richmond native becomes the latest talented defensive back to commit to Virginia. Harris’s size and physicality made him an enticing recruiting catch for schools such as Michigan, Ohio State, Tennessee and Virginia Tech. Opposing teams rarely tested him during his senior year of high school.

Donta Wilkins, DT: An All-Met, Wilkins saw his recruiting stock soar during a senior season in which he was named the Northwest Region player of the year on both sides of the ball for a second year in a row. He’ll be in the mix for playing time along the defensive line, especially after former Cavaliers defensive tackle Chris Brathwaite was dismissed from the program for academic reasons.
