
UCLA struggled to score in the first half of its South Region second-round game against No. 6 seed Cincinnati on Sunday, but the third-seeded Bruins found their stroke after the break and clinched a spot in the Sweet 16 with a 79-67 win.
Lonzo Ball led five Bruins players in double-figures with 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting. He also dished out nine assists against only one turnover. Jarron Cumberland had 15 points for the Bearcats off the bench.
UCLA, which trailed 33-30 at halftime, advances to play No. 2 seed Kentucky on Friday in Memphis.
