March Madness highlights No. 1 seeds Alabama, Houston fall; Creighton ousts Princeton

Here’s what to know

• In the women’s games, Miami ousted Villanova, 70-65, Angel Reese’s LSU topped Utah, 66-63, Clark’s Iowa eliminated Colorado, 87-77, and Louisville defeated Mississippi, 72-62.
• On the men’s side, it was a pair of No. 5 seeds that did the damage to the top seeds: San Diego State defeated Alabama, 71-64, while Miami cruised to a 89-75 win over Houston. Later, No. 15 seed Princeton’s Cinderella run ended with an 86-75 loss to Creighton and Texas upended Xavier, 83-71.
