Keane (12 goals, 10 assists) is back from Irish national team duty and Penedo returned from Panama’s qualifiers. United (1-8-2 in the past 11 matches) is without D Daniel Woolard (hamstring) and MF Jared Jeffrey (ankle). MF John Thorrington (quadriceps) is questionable. Galaxy MF Robbie Rogers (hamstring) is out. United aims to provide more minutes to MF-F Chris Pontius, who returned from an eight-game injury absence last weekend with a second-half appearance. Los Angeles, a two-time MLS Cup champion, is third in the Western Conference behind Real Salt Lake and Seattle. In a halftime ceremony on the field, United will induct club legend Jaime Moreno into the Hall of Tradition.
