Meade won the county a year ago but graduated all three of its top scorers. The Mustangs will look to Diamond Henson, a six-foot-one junior forward, one of just three returning players for Meade, for the bulk of their scoring. . . . Annapolis will look to build on its success from last season under second-year Coach Nikki Bozeman. Alexis Tyler was strong defensively and on the boards last season for the Panthers but will be counted on for more consistent offensive output this year. . . . Bre Bolden averaged a double-double for South River over the final 10 games of last season and is committed to play for College of Charleston. She’ll be paired in the back court with Tiffany McKinney, another three-year starter for South River.
